Courtney Ross

Partner

Courtney is an experienced attorney who has been practicing veterans disability law since 2015, with a focus on representing disabled veterans and their dependents before the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Her background includes handling claims and appeals related to psychiatric disabilities, orthopedic conditions, individual unemployability, toxic exposure related issues, and special monthly compensation to name a few. She has also served as a speaker on veterans law topics across the country, including conferences for the National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates, veterans law school clinics, and state continuing legal education presentations. Courtney’s lectured on the claims process under the Appeals Modernization Act, on the use of vocational expert evidence in VA cases, VA examinations, and on the Freedom of Information Act. Prior to joining Greene & Marusak in 2022, she worked managing a veterans law practice that included training attorneys and advocates. She also worked at a nonprofit organization in Massachusetts assisting individuals facing eviction due to financial challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Courtney graduated magna cum laude from Roger Williams University School of Law and is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is accredited to represent veterans before the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and licensed to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. She was named a firm partner in 2024.
